NOTICE BOARD


The health centre closes on the last Wednesday of every month from 1pm to 6pm for staff training and development purposes.  The closure dates are as follows:-  2/2/11, 30/3/11, 25/5/11, 22/6/11, 31/8/11, 28/9/11, 26/10/11, 30/11/11, 29/2/12, 21/3/12.  If you have an emergency NHS24 will be covering and can be contacted on 08454 24 24 24.

The Public Holidays for 2011/12 are as follows: Friday 22nd April 2011, Monday 25th April 2011, Friday 29th April 2011, Monday 2nd May 2011,  Monday 19th September 2011, Monday 26th December 2011, Tuesday 27th December 2011, Monday 2nd January 2012, Tuesday 3rd January 2012.  The health centre will be closed on these days so please ensure that you have enough medication to last you during these closures.  NHS24 will be covering the public holidays and can be contacted on 08454 24 24 24 if  you have an emergency. 

Prescriptions can now be ordered by e-mail.  The e-mail address is dedridge.prescriptions@nhslothian.scot.nhs.uk .  Information required is patient name, date of birth and the medication required.  Please allow 48 hours before collecting your prescription. 

The Wart Clinic is no longer be available at the Health Centre.  There are leaflets available from Reception which explain how Warts and Verrucae can be treated at home.
